CareCom and J2 Interactive announce the launch of their partnership with an exciting new offering. The HealthTerm® semantics platform can be deployed as J2 Managed Terminology, which is a cloud-based solution that offers the power of a terminology platform as a cost-effective managed service. With this offering, healthcare organizations will be able to leverage an established solution to create a single source of truth for enterprise-wide semantic interoperability.
Brooklyn, NY December 1, 2020—Global terminology solution vendor CareCom, has announced a strategic partnership with award-winning healthcare IT firm J2 Interactive. Leveraging CareCom’s industry-acclaimed terminology solution HealthTerm® with its library of pre-built semantic code systems and subsets, J2 Managed Terminology will deliver cloud-hosted, best-of-breed clinical terminology services to provider networks, payers, health information exchanges, and software vendors serving the healthcare industry.
CareCom has long been involved in the semantic coding needs of the global healthcare community. Adding the J2 Managed Terminology solution will address services and hosting components of the semantic mapping needs of healthcare organizations that send and receive clinical data containing standardized clinical codes such as ICD-10, LOINC, SNOMED-CT, and RxNorm.
