It is with great pride that I can announce our recent win in our home market – The Danish Municipalities.
CareCom has just signed a contract with KL (The Danish interest organization that oversees the 98 local Danish municipalities) where HealthTerm has been chosen to handle “Fælles Sprog III (FSIII)” – a code set for handling the registration of patient data within the social and healthcare profession for the Danish municipalities, which contains standards as SNOMED CT, ICPC-2 and ICD10.
HealthTerm will be used to develop and maintain FSIII, which then will be distributed to the 98 local municipalities, giving them access to HealthTerm for a further refinement of the code set. More specifically, HealthTerm will be mapping FSIII, ICPC-2 and SKS (the code set of the Danish hospitals) to the SNOMED CT reference terminology.
By using HealthTerm, KL will be able to create a common platform for the 98 Danish municipalities, enabling them to cooperate across sectors using one common “language” based on international standards.
